Abandoned Buildings Fundraiser October 30, 2012
Eli August & The Abandoned Buildings are doing a fundraiser to record and release our first Full Band Album ever. I've been playing with Eli for about 8 months & it's been really exciting watching it grow from just a few folks to all 8 of us. The lineup includes Cello, Bass, Clarinet, Female Vox, Electric Guitar, Glockenspiel, Drums & Eli. Please check it out (especially if you like things of the Dark, Epic Folk or Steampunk variety):
"In Wandering" is a combination of mostly new material with some older improvisations. This EP is intended to reflect the sort of songs I play and improvise live. The last 2 tracks are previews from my upcoming full-length "Ghosts of Greyhame". You can find it Here or at any show. If you buy it at a show, you get a free sticker to go along with it!
Mike McSweeney put together an amazing video of me playing in the subway at Union Square. I'm absolutely amazed at how well this came out.
